I have to wonder what the differences are that some people have bad battery drain, touch issues, lag and random reboots, and some work perfectly... Heck, if I don't use mine for a week, it still has most of the battery available, and no lag or random reboots, and it responds well to my touch.
I think badly coded apps have to do with a lot of issue, especially reboots and battery drain. It is pretty easy to get something wrong like forgetting to release services and end up with one of the Goggle service continuing to run and eat CPU and battery. You can also crash drivers which can result in a reboot if you are not careful, especially if you are playing with the NDK. I have done both of these and others bugs that have made Android perform poorly.![]()
I have a US Nexus in NJ and I haven't gotten it yet. Are there many people like me or should I reset my tablet to get the update. I understand it is normally a phased roll out but this is a really bad phased roll out.
