I installed it and my battery indicating is dropping by the minute with the charger plugged in. ugh...

Mine has dropped 18% in 4-5 hours of light usage. I'd say that's about normal for my S5A.

Right after my update the battery level started dropping QUICKLY using my black samsung charger. I restarted phone, turned off phone and took out the battery. Plugged it into my white samsung charger and it started to charge. In the Black one it wasn't charging at all but rather losing battery while plugged in. Seems to be taking a charge now, let's see how it goes.

Well, I was downloading the update on WIFI and of course at 75% my internet service provider crashed. I will leave it on for a bit to see if it resumes but it looks belly up right now even after the internet came back up. With my general luck the data will be corrupted and the phone will never work again!

Fortunately it continued the download and installed properly (I think). It does list 4.4.4 as the Android revision under settings. Should I be seeing any changes that are obvious or is this more of a repair of glitches? There aren't any that seem to stand out.

Sad that it has gotten to the point that "No problems so far" is the standard post install post for new updates rather than a recitation of the new features. But having lived through several buggy updates or updates that have added unwanted features or removed desired functionality, I understand why we are all gun shy when we decide to take the plunge and install that new update.

I tried to do a search regarding as to what the new features would be from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 and only turned up that it was primarily fixes to existing issues. Nothing was stated to be a new feature that I could find, but my Search Fu may be weak. Has anyone else had something new appear other than one or two apps that are so intrusive that I refuse to activate them?

For all those having issues with battery drain after update....back your device up then do factory reset, then restore from backup. That should fix your battery drain issue.
