4.4.4 update ETA?

Just wondering if anyone has heard when verizon will let the note 3 have the update.

Also will the note 3 get the touchwiz update to match it to the s5, or is that something they are going to want you to buy a new phone to get?

It could be. Usually they keep the interface same. But on my 10.1 note 2014 the 4.4.2 update gave me the newer tab pro interface, notification so there's no telling.

you could always go on the web and find the update and download and install it manually. But do research first to find out all the risks and advantages.

The Android L upgrade is coming, possibly in October. Do you think that the Verizon N3 will ever get that upgrade? Or will the KitKat 4.4.4 be it?

We will get L. When is the only question but we definitely will get it

I think it's possible they may skip 4.4.4 and go straight to L. A long shot but possible.

L = the next major version of Android. Right now it's K for KitKat. We're on 4.4.2, most recent version out for some devices is 4.4.4. Next version hasn't been officially named, but think that's coming in the next few weeks? L should provide visible user differences as well as major under the hood changes/improvements.

verioson seems to always be the last out of all the cell phone companies to release updates for phones so it might be quite a while before we see anything

4.4.4 should enable Google Wallet contactless payments. That is enough to get me excited about it.
