4.4.4 update for unlocked M8 is here!

Just got a 4.4.4 update notification for my unlocked developer edition M8 and I'm downloading it as I type. Can't wait to see what's new.

You should be able to download it wherever you are as long as your build number is in the released batch.

I've just received the update as well with an unlocked version from Carphone Warehouse in the UK.

Got the update on my unlocked UK model.. I quite liked the old version of dual capture though

when will carrier branded m8 get it ? I wish they would put these updates out faster. I mean my Nexus 4 got 4.4.4 back in June !!!!

4.4.4 itself was a minor security update, so I don't think HTC really pushed it. In fact I'm sure I saw articles saying they weren't really even going to release it as it was so minor. But I guess the main update was the HTC EYE software, so they bunded 4.4.4 with it.

Don't forget, HTC updates/customisations are different to the Android updates, although they often get pushed at the same time.
