Great tip. Thanks for sharing. Can you share with us when you have confirmation of it actually shipping? This is a great price, but I'm concerned they are collecting money now, and it will ship in a month or so when they actually get them in stock.

Just bought mine from Microcenter in Minneapolis @ $449.00.
They had over 18 of them there.

Otherwise if you're in the Denver area, the DTC Micro Center should have 23 left? I got the first 3 and each were exchanged and returned due to issue with the back light bleeding or reboots. All had bad wifi though. :-(

Anyways, they ARE available though. I tried hard to stick with them but had too much bad luck.

They are actually apparently unavailable online. My order was cancelled due to lack of stock.

However, I ordered one from TigerDirect last night and got a shipping confirmation email this morning.

Sorry Im not to "Smart" about this stuff....but what do you mean by back light bleeding? I think I might have that issue too but really unsure if its an issue. I think Im looking to hard to find problems that everyone else is having.

Picked mine up there yesterday too Mine seems fine. Wifi was 20Mbps down and up at work which is what my phone does.

Sorry Im not to "Smart" about this stuff....but what do you mean by back light bleeding? I think I might have that issue too but really unsure if its an issue. I think Im looking to hard to find problems that everyone else is having.

Look at a black screen. The booting up screen is easiest. Now look at the edges of the screen. If you see any lighter areas where it looks like the backlight is brighter that is light bleed. Just do a Google image search and you will see good examples. Its never bothered me but some people are bothered terribly by it. Unfortunately it is pretty much going to be present on all LCD screens to some extent.

Don't go looking for problems. Just enjoy the tablet.

I selected Denver and they had several then I changed from pick-up to 2 day shipping. The order went through but I haven't received an order conf never mind shipping conf from them.
Good deal on a clearance tablet that just got released 6 weeks ago and was never available.... I guess I'll wait and see what happens now!
