A coworker just texted me and said he noticed that he had 4G on his Droid 4. So I enabled LTE on my g-nex and sure enough, 4G. Bye bye battery...;)

You'd be surprised. I picked up my nexus on launch day and there was an Amish guy buying a Rezound...

Kinda surprised by the signal strength, I get three bars of 3G and one bar of 4g in my office, I was shocked to see it worked in there. Fast as hell, too!

I'm guessing it's still somewhat spotty though. In Millersville I'm seeing between 12 and 16.74 Mbps down and 11.75 to 13.88 Mbps up; while in Lancaster City I'm only seeing 3.46 to 5.04 Mbps down and 3.40 to 7.35 Mbps up. This is the range that I've been getting the past two days across 8 tests in both locations at various times.

Went to school down there and Amish were driving some very nice cars lol. beautiful area, stinky as hell from the fertilizer but very nice people. Glad to know when I go visit for reunions I'll have 4G

I presume the Amish dude buying the rezound was Mennonite.

Anywho, my parent's house is about .5 miles from Lancaster, and I never got 4G out there (but only had a few hours to test it).

Stroudsburg also just approved new 4G VZW towers! I guess all major town in Eastern PA will be 4G now that they're expanding the covereage for Scranton, Allentown, and Philly.

Maybe York will see it shortly. Ive been on EVDO for the last day or so. Maybe they are updating the towers

Unfortunately it does not make it all the way into mount joy or toward maytown where I live. I wonder why their was no announcement about Lancaster?

Got it in Lititz now too... :-)

Hopefully Myerstown is going live soon. Got an email from Verizon earlier about the new lte areas and Lancaster wasn't listed. Only expanding Harrisburg.

LTE is a go in Myerstown and Richland Pa. Was live over Easter weekend at least. Just wanted to share. :D
