4k video recording

Go to camera settings, click on the video camera icon, click on the resolution, it's the 1st choice.

Certain Note 3 models DO NOT have 4K Video recording... in this case the SM-N900 doesn't have it... Since it has the Exynos 5 chipset in it.. The Snapdragon 800 makes it capable for 4K video recording.

SebasCvdB is right only the 9005 snapdragons have 4k video recording. I'm my opinion it's still a gimmick feature because at almost 1gb per minute and only having the option to record 5 minutes in 4k mode is silly.

Also the fact that 4K televisions at this point are not that affordable either. It would've been nice if the screen on the Note 3 was 4K but at this point definitely gimmick...

I don't see it as a gimmick. Record your videos in 4K, and in about a year or two time you can watch it on a 4K tv. You can still play it on a regular TV in the meantime until 4K becomes more mainstream.

Doesn't really matter to me. Memory space is a given, but 5 min recording is fine for me. I don't usually record longer than that anyways.

Yeah than we are probably already seeing the coming of 8K becoming the next big thing. 4K recording for now is just a gimmick whether we like it or not.

My note 3 is sm n900. No 4k video recording. It is only for n9005/n9002....Samsung did very bad with sm n900. Feeling disappointed.

Exynos was the one that chose not to include the option for 4K recording. It comes from the processing power, and for whatever reason it is not implemented into that processor

Even if 8K becomes mainstream, 4K will look a lot better on an 8K tv than 1080p.
