Lollipop broke the muting function in Android Wear. When the phone had Lollipop but the watch KitKat, muting on the watch wasn't muting the phone but rather muted notifications on the watch. Broken.

Now the watch muting controls the phone, enforcing the "All, priority, and none" settings. I'm surprised Google let this go unaddressed during the transition, but glad it's working now.

If you call that fixing. It broke the mute feature for me.

Yeah, it's not fixed for me. I want the watch to vibrate, not the phone. After the update, it's either both vibrate or neither vibrate. I should be able to choose...

Just in case your still hunting for a solution to this... You can mute just the phone and have the watch vibrate in the Android wear app settings...

I've found this to be inconsistent.

I haven't used it much myself... Just thought it worth a mention :) .

I've pretty much "adapted" to the new lollipop notification pull down, but I agree it's not a perfect solution.
