Does anyone know if the 5.0.1 update was pulled by google? I had mine in the notification bar for several days and all of the sudden it just disappeared and hasn't came back since (last 2 days). I have read on here that this same thing has happened to others but what is going on?

Wouldn't be surprised if it was pulled. 5.0.1 bricked my device. Can't wipe the cache nor wipe the device. At this point I currently have an expensive paper weight.

Wow! I guess it may of been a good idea on my part not installing it. I'm kinda glad it's gone now. If this is true this is a great example of it always being better to wait when receiving an it's update Rather then installing right away.

Same here, had notification, didn't install and I go to system update and it says I'm up to date with KitKat 4.4.4

5.0.1 runs great on the two N7 2013's in my house. Could not be happier with the update...

Yeah, I got 5.0.1 awhile back now and havent had any issues yet. Been working great.

My update came on Tuesday installed pretty seamlessly. I love the way your notifications pop up on the lockscreen. Overall it's quite slick :).

When I got the update I had screen problems. It runs smooth now. The only problem I have now is that it is not bright enough. It seems somewhat dim.

5.0.1 working well on my 2013 N7. brosko, are you certain it wasn't a 5.0 notification that somehow popped up, then got retracted?

Yes, my update notification disappeared too. I didn't install it because I wanted to wait and see how buggy it was. Must have bugs if they pulled it.

Yes, I had the same experience. I never got a notification for 5.0 (thank goodness!), but I did get one for 5.0.1. I downloaded the file but didn't install it. I kept being told that 5.0.1 was ready to be installed. Then, suddenly, a few days later, no more notification. It had disappeared. This seems to have happened to those of us who got the notification for 5.0.1 but didn't install it. Although some people seem quite happy with 5.0.1, enough people were having problems that Google almost surely pulled it.

Yes, without a doubt it was the 5.0.1 update. I never even saw 5.0

Maybe we will see a 5.0.2 update soon. I would not be surprised if they pulled the 5.0.1 update. They never said they pulled the 5.0 update. I never got the notification for the 5.0 update. But as soon as the 5.0.1 update came out, I got it.

Never got any Lollipop update on my Nexus 7 (2013) and I was tired of waiting forever so I sideloaded it two weeks ago using the Nexus Root Toolkit it was not that bad. Also 5.0.1 runs great with Google Now Launcher.

Same here

Same thing here. I got 5.0 OTA (many weeks after I got it on my Nexus 5) and the other night, it rebooted itself a few times and not the device is bricked. I can't get past the Google logo when starting up and I can't unlock it either to push a new rom.
