5.0.2 update on the way???

It looks like there are already factory images for the Nexus 7 (2012) showing 5.0.2 on it. Any idea on when this will hit the Nexus 6? Or do you all think it will be just for the Nexus 7?

What SMS/MMS problems are you seeing?

I'm on Sprint in Atlanta and everything is working great here. I'm using the new Google Messenger.

I too am in the ATL using GO SMS and am having Zero messaging problems.
I am not saying that the problem does not exist, but it sounds regional.

I'm on Sprint in Atlanta and everything is working great here. I'm using the new Google Messenger.

Its been reported here multiple times. When you first activate a new N6 on Sprint your SMS/MMS either does not go through at all or you get delayed messages. Now it just sends duplicates and triplicates. You can tell when you send a SMS it just hangs then goes through about 30 sec later. And the recipient ends up with about 3 or 4 messages. My first couple days with this phone were horrible, I didn't even receive calls. It was 'fixed' after re activating it 3 or 4 times. There is something with either this phone or android 5.0 I never had this issue with the N5.

My apologies. I recall your problem now. Have you tried Google messenger? It's working well for me with Sprint.

Yea same deal. Jerry replied to a comment I left on a nexus story and said, 'people in the know' say sprint has some people from google trying to fix the issue. I hope that's true.

Its the software either on the N6 or the radio. Yesterday for example, i booted up my N5, and it was getting SMS before my N6 would. I left my old Sim in it. Its weird too because that Sim is inactive. Idk what the hell is going on
Maybe I should just cut the old Sim, and try that one.

Rest assured it is 100% a Nexus 6 problem.
