Well it is finally here. Now let's see how well it works. Downloaded just finished and upgrade done

I also downloaded it too and let's see if we end up having any battery drain issues and how samsung pay works

I downloaded it but the update failed. "Update interrupted." I'm downloading it again now. Wish it cached it so it didn't have to download again if it fails.

This thread got me to pull my active out of the drawer.

As soon as I get Samsung pay, I may just sell my S6.

That's what I meant... Haha, that's what I get for multitasking at work... I was wondering if 5.1.1 came with Android Pay as there's been a lot of back and forth as to whether the S6 active has the magnetic strip thingy in it...

I have the same issue. Online said you have to have at least 6gb storage left so that the update can go through.

By the way, I can't download again and have to way for another 24 hours. How can you download it right away?

Just turn of auto-update clock under date and time. Then set the clock 24 hours forward.

Upgraded! Seems to be running pretty well, but time will tell. Other than Samsung Pay, I noticed they have added a Broadcast Live to YouTube mode under the camera. Haven't had a chance to see what else is new. I quickly tried to add my PNC debit card to Samsung Pay, but it failed. Hopefully just a temporary problem. I plan to try again later. Post any other changes or new features that you see here.

Seems to work well. So far battery seems the same but memory was running 7-10% now it runs 15-25%. So that's an improvement. Sauna pay looks great but none of my cards work. So that is about it. Icons are more rounded at corners. Phone added video calls
Haven't tried it yet but looks cool.

Tried to update without SIM on wifi and no go. Popped my SIM in and update started downloading. Fully updated with samsung pay set up with BoA debit and AMEX. It does have MST and uses a 4 digit PIN instead of fingerprint sensor. I used Samsung pay on my S6 until I got my nexus 6P. Battery life on my S6 seemed worse on 5.1.1 so hopefully not the same on the S6 Active.

Doesn't support pnc bank yet. Look at Samsung pay website. Only few cards and Banks are supported right now.

After the 5.1.1 update, does anyone else have this issue under battery in settings?

I installed 5.1.1 on my AT&T GS6 Active today, and now cannot change the Services to on in the Accessibility settings? Light Flow asks me to turn on, but I cannot. I had one app that was on, so I turned it off now can't turn back on? My apps appear to be accessing notifications anyway though?

Anyone else have this?

For those of you who updated AND use Package Disabler, did you export your 'disabled packages' first and then enable everything before the update?

(I'm even thinking of doing a factory reset after the update just to be doubly-sure)

I forgot to do this before I updated. Everything is fine, though. The phone is quicker than ever and the battery life even seems to be a tad better to me.
