5.1 Preferred Cellular Network Setting Problem

I'm using T Mobile and when I go in to set my preferred setting I choose LTE but when I back out and go back in to the setting, nothing is checked. LTE, 3G, and 2G are blank. Also, I am having a problem with group MMS not working when someone sends me a picture. Anyone else have the same issue?
