5 Reasons To Buy The Z2.

Htc M8 mini 2 or Htc One M7?

With the introduction of the Htc M8 mini 2 whilst it's no doubt an average product.

Why would one opt for this when you can purchase the M7?

The 13mgp Camera perhaps or the Expandable Storage upto 128gb to which the cards will be atleast 1/3 of the price of the phone possibly more.

So what would be the decisive factor to choose the M8 mini 2 over the M7?

Re: Sony Xperia Z2 the perfect smartphone?

I just got mine yesterday in Canada on Bell.

I am a Windows Phone user and lover in my personal life.

I had a Blackberry 9000, 9900, Z10, and finally a Z30 (nice phone) for Work.

I have tried to find an Android Phone that gives me a positive experience.

I tried the Mega, the Galaxy 4, lately the LG Flex, and all of them left me.disappointed.

Until now...this new Sony has convinced me!!!

This is the Android Experience that pulled me away from Blackberry forever.

Still learning the tricks of Android, but I am really enjoying it on this phone.

I will never stop loving my Limit 1020, but I may not be paying as.much attention to it for a while.

I have come from the Note 3 and it's not seen any use since I received the Z2.

This is still fresh after a week, what I mean by that is the feeling of new is still there.

One great product indeed :-)

Agree - the flap is an obsolete issue as you just need the magnetic dock charger

Well I play alot of video, listen to music, Web surf, posting, calls, taking photos.

But I don't play any games.

I haven't done anything so I can't list.

There are power saving options if you find the battery drains to fast.

After a week of use taking pictures, Web Browsing, listening to music and all the general things you do with a smartphone I can honestly say and yes I will use the quote "Worth Every Penny"

The main surprise for me is all the features no surprise there. What I mean is that they all work and well.

The Camera takes stunning pictures and with the dedicated shutter button it's a breeze. I also happen to like the app itself very easy to navigate and use.

The Screen is sharp and vivid and using outdoors has been the best of the Smartphones I have used. I like it very much.

The Battery performance is great and can easily get through a day of heavy use, leaving me to charge overnight which suites me as I tend not to use my phone when I'm sleeping lol

I have experienced no lag, stutters or hiccups what so ever. If I do I will report but I'm being honest absolutely nothing.

The Noise cancelling headphones are great and a joy to listen to all my music on the move.

Is the Z2 perfect that is Subjective and for me it's as close as it gets. For others perhaps they will find more flaws than I can.

As I would struggle to name 3 Tbh.

So this is my little update after a week of use.

How would you compare the reception quality to previous phones you've owned?

Data Signal is on the same level, call quality was better on my previous devices but by no means poor on the Z2.

Previous Devices.

1)Galaxy S3

2)Galaxy S4

3)Galaxy Mega

4)Note 3

5)Nexus 5.

Re: Htc M8 mini 2 or Htc One M7?

I'm not too keen on an M8, it seems a bit big for my liking, I'm used to a Desire HD (had it for 4 years now) so would prefer something a bit smaller but with all the bells and whistles. The fact that the Mini also has more plastic edges(showing) is a turn off too.
Then there's the price, I've read that the Mini will be priced at ?469, I can buy an M7 from a reputable dealer with 2 year guarantee for ?440.
I'm not embarrassed that I use a Desire HD so using "last years" top phone won't be a problem, so the decision is easy.
I'll be ordering a black M7 on Monday. :-$

Re: Htc M8 mini 2 or Htc One M7?

You said it, camera and storage. My music collection that I keep onhand is 22 gigs by itself. I'd be near filling an M7. Also, the camera on the M7 is almost unusable.

Re: Some Z2 photos :-)

Some Cracking pics there Raziel and to anyone else feel free to post yours.

The Camera on the Z2 I find to be very good indeed :-)

So Chuffed with the Z2.

I have written my thoughts on the Z2 and whilst it's not perfect in every way.

The Z2 covers everything I look for in a smartphone and then a little bit more.

Do I like the Z2 well that is YES in capitals lol

My Overall Rating is 9/10 and the mark down is call quality its not 100% but far from poor.

Worth Every Penny :-)

Re: Sony Xperia Z2 the perfect smartphone?

I was using a Moto G and a Lumia 1020 until today when I picked up a Z2. I can't believe how good this phone is.

It's definitely the fastest phone I've ever had, the camera is brilliant and the hardware is just perfect.

I used Lumias mostly for the photography but I doubt I'll be using my 1020 much now. If anyone is reading this wondering whether to get a Z2, get one, you will love it.

Re: So Chuffed with the Z2.

I agree completely. I've only had mine a few hours but it's a fantastic phone and I'm looking forward to using it.
