Well excuse me, but the site that's linked from my notification email (the mobile site) has no such "description" area and there's no mention of the battery actually being included. That's the site that I've been using because, well, that's the link that was provided to me by Samsung themselves.

Glad that it comes with the battery.

But damn, at least I can spell and know how to use quotation marks.

Me too - I honestly didn't originally realize it included the battery and becuase I thought it was "Coming Soon" hadn't given it much thought. For $31 getting a name brand spare battery and charging case including another travel charger (given only 1A...) it seemed like a decent deal.

I'm not sure if everyone was seeing this from the mobile site but on the main site there was a promotion where they would give you a free set of TecTiles 2 (normal price is $14.99) with the order of certain accessories one of which includes spare battery charging systems. I didn't see anything show up in my cart but I called and they confirmed that they will just be included with my shipment - nice (I already bought a set of third part NFC tags but maybe the Samsung ones will work better in certain situations):

I just called Samsung. They apologized and said they will send the TecTiles 2 at no charge. Thanks for the tip!

As for the free shipping, that was a link from Bling and they said they don't honor third party app links. They do still ship free for orders over $49.99. Overall, I'm happy.

Where I was on the phone with them last week and they told me I could not apply the coupon to the s veiw cover because it was over 40 dollars I put up a fuss and the dude I was talking to put me on hold. When he came back not only did he give me the s veiw for half price, he also gave me the battery kit for half price.

I don't know how to put up a fuss. I should try getting the Gear for $199 by calling Verizon and fussing.
