5G is painfully slow.

I can't switch networks with Verizon like you can. Thankfully they finally fixed it. All the signals work which is a big relief.

AT&T S23 Ultra here's 5G then i can switch to LTE as you can see both pictures Setup

Is that a carrier branded AT&T phone or factory unlocked? I'm on a factory unlocked Flip 3 with AT&T, and I don't have those options

No it's a official AT&T S23 Ultra Carrier locked but i have U1 installed, no i don't use band selector , doesn't work, , thats from Shield Rebirth app

I was in California last week and the 5G was kinda sketchy; for both AT&T and Verizon. The download speeds were good. However, the upload speeds were atrocious. In many cases, less than 1Mbps.

The areas were around LAX, Disneyland/Anaheim, and Pasadena.

Well that's not good lol. 2 of the Big Three carrier's 5G is struggling in the very areas it's supposed to excel in.... big cities

Ok. That's probably true. If you were at the stadium watching the Rose Bowl that would be a different story. But in the entire area shouldn't be network congestion.

Download speeds were not bad. In some cases over 100Mbps; with most of them in the 20-50Mbps range. It was the upload connections that were bad. Many times under 1Mbps in the 100Kbps to 200Kbps range.

Many people don't realize that upload speeds can have a greater impact than download speeds.
