How to redeem your YouTube
Premium trial
Open the YouTube app on your Samsung Galaxy device. Go to your account / profile and log in or create an account. Tap GET YOUTUBE PREMIUM. Select TRY IT FREE, complete sign up, and start streaming

Also on your phone open the Spotify app and basically do the same. I just put a reminder in my Calendar to cancel each of these before the promo expires so I won't get charged.

I've not looked at the YouTube offer yet but just to ask is it a subscription service where a person needs to unsubscribe if they don't want to start paying after the initial Trial period ?

That's correct, after the 4 month trial they will start charging around 12 quid per month.
It's worth it just to get rid of the ads for a while lol.

Thank you.

Just read "At the end of your trial period, you will automatically be charged the standard monthly subscription fee for YouTube Premium unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the trial."

Just create a new account!

I thought about this but how would you export all of the content creators you follow to the new account? I probably follow like 400 channels and I'm not about to go subscribe to every individual account again on the new account.

Oh yeah if you are the deep into it then may not be worth it. Or pick a few of the top just a suggestion. Did it with Spotify can't pass up 6 months of that.
