6P/Marshmallow phone app - no call time count

My prior phone on Lollipop would show the running time of a phone call. It appears either the 6P or Marshmallow does support this. This is very inconvenient for me. Why would they remove this? Am I missing something?

Not sure about 6p specifically, but I think when you pull notification shade, you see the time counting of a phone call.

Now I see that. While it's not shown on the main app page, this will do for me. I appreciate the help.

Definitely not as user friendly. There may be another place that shows time. I'm still learning MM.

If you want to see the time of a call that has already ended, tap on the call in history then select call details, the length of the call is on that screen.

The time of the ongoing call shows on the call screen if it's still up, to the right in the blue/colored section on the top half of the screen.
