6p or Oneplus 3?

Welcome to the forums!

And yes, that is quite the pickle! All of those phones have intrigued me, but I have heard overwhelmingly positive reviews/praises about the 6P. My advice to you would be to look up reviews/unboxing videos of these devices on YouTube (look especially for Android Central and for Android Authority). It's a tedious process, but it ultimately helps you make the most informed purchasing decision - one purely based on your needs. Good luck, and let us know what you've decided!

6P direct from Google vs. 1+3. You'll get a warranty and actual support in case anything happens to it. Plus, the oneplus 3 does not offer anything that the 6P doesn't offer. Right now, its arguable that you need 4GB of memory space for your apps, secondly its debateable that 1+ is going to follow through on updates. Just look historically at their support of the last two offerings. Marginal.

Also, if you can wait until the new phones come out (next nexus series) do that, buy the current Nexus 6P for less than $300 is the way to go. Best approach is to get off the upgrade cycle and put that cash to work for you.

Do you generally hate yourself? Do you like giving money to terrible companies that do stupid invites and promotions that request topless photos of women for phones? Do you like non existent support? Get that oneplus phone! Want to not have a terrible device? Get the Nexus.

They never requested topless photos of woman - that's a lie.

I still love my OnePlus One, and they updated it to Marshmallow. It still works fine. That said, I would wait for the next Nexus.

I have the OnePlus One and have used it since it was first released with NO PROBLEMS. The camera takes great pics (especially in low light), it is fast and buttery smooth. I still get compliments on the looks of the phone and absolutely love my OPO.

I did not get on the 2 (no NFC) or the X (too small) bandwagon because I wanted to keep my NFC and the bang for the buck to upgrade(?) was not there for me. Spec-wise, the 3 looks awesome and for the price (there are supposed to be 6 variants (Major OnePlus 3 leak found on Oppomart; 6 variants of the phone coming) and the price will not be beat by the 6P when it is released.

No invite needed! I know what I will be buying.

Thanks everyone for the solid advice !

Will go with the 6p, although you can argue it is last years specs it will be enough for me definitely .

Being honest I would have to have a phone that I enjoy looking and to me the nexus is gorgeous :)

And aswell the nexus is on sale at the moment with a 150 euro off so I'll be ordering tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Now if anyone could give advice on some apps and launchers etc to get the best experience out of it that would be great :D

OK, topless is a bit of an exaggeration, but come on, the ladies first "contest", which was merely "lets have some creepy internet phone nerds vote on pictures of women that will get phones outside of our horrible and stupid invite system" was really messed up.
