6P Random Freezing

My 6P has suddenly started undergoing random crashes/freezes. Screen will lock up, on screen buttons unresponsive, and the clock stops. They only way to undo this is to hold the power button to reboot.

Has only else seen this on their 6P, or other device? Are there any apps I can pull from Google Play that might be able to help me diagnose the issue (i.e. memory leak, bad app, overheating, etc).

Nexus 6P 128gb. 58gb used. Android 7.1.2. Build N2G48B.

Reboot into Safe mode and see if the problems continue. If they don't then it's probably a 3rd party application that you've installed. If they do then it's probably a hardware problem, but you'd want to perform a Factory Reset (and wipe the system cache in Recovery mode) just to be certain.

My 6P was having this issue too. If safe mode doesn't fix it, I'd unlock your bootloader and maybe load the custom boot image that disabled the big cluster of CPU, my 6P eventually BLOD itself and won't even recover with the heating trick :/
