An update on Nexus 7 shipping status



In the US: We?ve shipped all standalone Nexus 7 8GB orders (e.g., those without a case, charger or Nexus Q). By the end of day on July 19 (PDT), we will have shipped all standalone Nexus 7 16GB orders placed through July 11 (PDT), and upgraded these orders to overnight shipping. We will process the remaining standalone Nexus 7 16GB orders by the end of next week with overnight shipping.

This sure doesn't explain how there are ppl who ordersed on Friday (7/13) and have already received them.

Mean while, all the ppl ordered from 7/2-7/7 haven't received anything. On this forum, I havnt seen one person that ordered from 7/2-7/7 that has said they recieved anything.... No emails... No CC charge... No communication....

worst part is i called sunday asking to cancel and they stated i would be charged monday...still waiting for that to happen

My tracking updated yesterday. Looks like they are all shipping out of Kentucky.

As of a few minutes ago...out for delivery!! Which means this afternoon for me. 8)

My wife just called and said the N7 arrived. I have work to finish, kids soccer practice and little ones to put to bed before I can play, but at least it is at home!

New pending charge on my credit card plus the order has move to the top of the GP list. Maybe something is happening.

The excuse email doesn't fix any thing... It actually makes things worse... Because that email should have came out on at least Saturday.... By then they had already shipped a great deal of orders that were made after the original "preorders".

Ordered 8gb with a case on June 28th. Charged July 17th (finally) nothing else from google.

Google thoroughly ticked me off. NOW they decide to send an email. This is all most of us wanted in the first place; a little communication. I'm glad they decided to eat the cost to upgrade to next day shipping. Hope they're hungry; cause they're gonna eat the cost of the tablet too. I don't need it.

I got my email while i was in the parking lot of MicroCenter as i picked up my 32GB 10" Asus Transformer 300TF for $349. It w ill likely get Jelly Bean since Asus made the N7 and there's no carrier to hold up an update.

I'm actually glad Google screwed up. Otherwise, i wouldn't have purchased the Transformer.

Too little, too late, Google. All you had to do was send this email a week ago with this information. But thanks for jerking me around. Now I have what I want and didn't pay for shipping - next day or otherwise.
