$799 for the xoom

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Xoom come with 32gb? If so then you should be comparing it to the 32gb iPad 3g, in which case the prices are comparable.

Yeah, but if we're comparing storage to storage, I don't even think the 32GB iPad is comparable. At least you'll be able to add storage to the Xoom, which you're not able to do with the iPad. Then again, not everyone will add a 32GB storage card like I will (especially considering class 10 is out for under $100), so I understand where you're coming from.

Another good point. For those of us who need carrier support and will use the space, the XOOM plus a 32GB SD card (let's call it $50) should be compared to the 3G 64GB iPad.

$749 versus $829. The XOOM is looking like more of a bargain every day!

I have a 32GB micro-sd in my phone. I wonder if I could use the adapter it came with and put that in the Xoom?

I'm not sure I see what you're getting at. You know the Xoom has a microSD slot, right? Maybe I'm just confused about what your asking?

No, I wasn't sure if it was a Micro-sd or regular size one. If it's micro-sd then I'm set. I can just get a 16GB to replace in my phone and use the 32GB for the Xoom. Thanks.

Gotcha, just wanted to make sure. At one point Motorola stated that microSD cards wouldn't be supported at launch, but that would be corrected with a software update. Who knows. Guess we'll find out when it launches.
