8.1 Final (Stable) now available for Pixel and Pixel XL!!!

Must be an issue...last time i was delayed this long, there was a bug in the update.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions saying there "must be an issue." The past two security updates I received were well into the middle of the month; at least two weeks after other people received their update. This time I got the 8.1 update (including the security update) in the first few days after release. I think it's just luck of the draw. No issues here.

I have a Verizon XL and have not received it or the 8.1 update. Previously I always received them on the first day.

Mine was included with the 8.1 update. It's dated Dec. 5.

Man...I have never had to wait this long for an OTA, either security update or OS update. On my Nexus 6P and Pixel, it was a 48 hour wait at most. Thumbs down in this slow rollout. I could maybe understand if it we're a Samsung phone, but we all know there aren't nearly as many pixels in the wild as there are S8s. And if there aren't issues after two developer previews and 48 hours of open release, then stop the staggered thing. I specifically bought Nexus and Pixel devices for fast updates. SMDH.

Who knows what's taking so long (Verizon), still haven't received the update yet either. After a little over year with the pixel, I have been spoiled with timely updates; came from a Samsung S5.

While it's frustrating that some devices have received the updates and some have not, and it appears to be at random, my wife has a note 8 and is still rolling on 7.1.1. Here I am anxiously awaiting 8.1, and she doesn't even know about 8.0.

I'm getting a 567.9MB update on my Pixel XL 2016 as we speak from Verizon - go check your phones people.

Hope I agree. I've been loving the subtle little differences of Oreo over Nougat and don't want to step back.
