8 hours in 8 hours is pretty doable on many devices. 8 hours over a 24 hour period is very rare, not much other than a Note 4 can come close to that - and from what I hear it's closer to 5.

I am currently at 7 hours 45 minutes as I right this and have 12% battery so 8 is reachable if I wasn't barely awake..
Only settings disabled is NFC, Location, and quick memo.

NFC I have disabled as I do not use it atm, can enable as needed.

Location I do have on

How do you 'disable' QuickMemo+? I don't use it (not sure what its used for)

It was very hard to play that long. Don't have best attention span but I had to for the sake of this phone

Haha! Yeah it's a pretty graphic intense game. Lots going on at one time with all the effects and toons on the screen.

Yeah that game is good!! I DLed thanks to you awhile back! I just can't play it on my commute to and from work because at my age now, my body prefers to sleep over establishing a gazing attention on a handheld device, lol! Growing old stinks I tell you!!

Good! I'd suggest putting brightness to zero and turning off sync if you want to.
If I was doing it again that's how I would. And take a video of screen time so people believe you

Only settings disabled is NFC, Location, and quick memo. For duration of this charge I played Pokemon Gold while phone was paired to a Moga controller. Screen brightness at 28%. Have to say this is my favorite phone and battery is amazing. Given its not prefect this is pretty damn good.

Dual window is under settings and general. Quick memo can't be disabled without root

My battery has been the best out of every phone I've owned this year. I had turn everything off on my s6 and my g4 is still doubling it. I've used the 6plus, note 4,iPhone 6, m9, and my g4 blows them away right out the box.

In my Battery Optimization thread, I had just over 7.5 hours SOT with 24% battery remaining. Great job working with your phone! Much rather hear posts about people at least TRYING to work with their device, instead of WHINING about it!

I've had this phone for 7 days. I've been giving it time before I gave my input. But I'm not getting the battery life that I've seen here. I don't have Google now, location services are on battery saver, auto brightness, Bluetooth off, NFC off, no oddball apps, I monitor my battery with gsam. I'm getting about the same battery life as my htc one m7. My screen on average is less than three hours I believe.

Try a factory reset and if that doesn't work exchange it
