I have written what I would like to consider a pretty complete tutorial for the Nexus 4. Users may want to root and install a custom ROM, but they may have no idea where to start, that's why I wrote the tutorials below.

It is an 8 part guide and I just uploaded the final part. I tried to make it as newbie friendly as possible as it can be pretty confusing if you haven't done this sort of thing before. There are plenty of images and screenshots, so it should help newbies understand what's going on. I discuss (in great detail) how to install drivers for the Nexus 4, how to unlock, root and install Clockworkmod using the Nexus 4 Toolkit, how to install CyanogenMod CM10 nightlies, how to install franco's kernel, how to permanently enable LTE on Android 4.2.2 (Rogers, Bell, Telus, etc.), how to permanently fix wifi tethering on LTE (by default only 3G works on wifi tethering), how to revert back to 100% stock and finally, I discuss how to maximize the battery life of the Nexus 4.
