I appreciate the responses. So, potentially, someone would notice a reduction in battery life?
My Verizon 512 GB note 9 is using 4.3 out of 8 GB with 56 apps or services open, including 11 apps I knowingly opened and never closed and, apparently, a bunch of services that like to run in the background. 606 MB is system reserved.
Might be tough to find someone that has both a 6gb and 8gb... let alone set up exactly the same in order to compare speeds and what not...
Anyone notice a difference with 8GB vs 6GB?
I do! I find the note 9 overall faster than my note 8, and I never thought my note 8 was slow, lol.
So is your Note 9 a 6gb of Ram version or 8Gb of Ram version ?
The point of the thread is people deciding if it's worth paying extra to get the 512Gb with 8Gb of Ram instead of the 128Gb with 6Gb of Ram.
512gb, 8gb ramexynos, Australia
(and, because I pre ordered, I got the 512gb for the same price as the 128gb. And, in fact, the 512gb was therefore the same price as the note 8, 64gb, when it first came on the market)
Completely different processor. Not what the thread is asking.I do! I find the note 9 overall faster than my note 8, and I never thought my note 8 was slow, lol.
Exactly... the Note 8 vs 9 will have a greater effect than 6 vs 8 GB.He's talking about you comparing a note 9 vs a note 8. He wants to know what the speed difference between a note 9 with 8gb vs a 6gb. The processor difference between the 8 and 9 won't show the difference between the RAM.
