I've never thought to check an 8k video. It looks amazing

I came across a few of these videos a while ago and even on our none 8k screens it just looks so amazing but I think the 60fps aids in the crispiness of the videos as well.

I never did fully understand this so if someone can explain... When you watch an 8k video on your phone... but your phone only goes QuadHD which is not even 4K so when you are saying see how great an 8K video is... we do realize that we are really watching it at QuadHD right?? (when set at WQHD+ of course).

Yeah I know what you mean. I just think the footage has a perceived difference from 4k even on our lower resolution screens. But again I'm no sure if that's from the videos being shot in 60fps HDR as well. I just know when I watch these video in particular, I can really tell there's something special about it.
