So wouldn't it kill more battery having it as fixed 96hz compared to adaptive from 1-120hz auto? I would think it wouldn't make a difference then.

I'm only getting about 5.5 hours of screen on time anyway, so I'm going to lock down the 120hz and see if I get less than 5.5 hrs.

Its if you want it at 96hz /120hz all the time instead of the adaptive 120 which will change based on content

A lot of phones are fixed at 90hz with no option to change, I can see this as a good option to be fair, but variable even better.

I just installed it and set it to 96... I'll see if battery life changes over the next few days! Not sure if I'd even notice yet because I'm not even sure if the thing has even adapted to me yet to begin with!

I answered this on post #8 which i answered no it won't, at least not yet if the developer finds a way i will post it here for now we can't run WQHD+ AT 96HZ OR 120HZ

Mine is as smooth as butter in adaptive. I don't think I need it. Software is doing a pretty good job with it on my device.
