For the past 2 days My phone will randomly shut down. No rhyme or reason no specific time intervals.

When it does turn off. I am unable to turn it back on.

The only way it can turn back on is if I attach it to a power source. Once attached i can power it back on. The settings on the phone under battery tell me that the battery is always fully charged when this happens.

So i have no idea why this is happening.

I went to the Verizon store to see if they knew but of course they had no idea because they had not even seen one yet.. He said I can be put on a list when they start shipping again to receive a replacement.

Any ideas?

Personally, it sounds like a bad battery, I would go back to verizon and see if they will give you a new battery (they usually just hand one over). That way if the battery was the issue then you don't have to waste a ton of time reinstalling everything you have on your phone to a replacement. If you are still within a month of purchase (which is obvious) they have to replace the battery if you are having problems.

Thanks I will try getting a replacement battery.

So I am able to duplicate the problem.

If I hold the phone upside down (red speaker part down) The phone will turn off.

I think I may ask for a replacement telephone. Too Bizarre!
