I am sad to announce the death of my Bionic. Poor girl. She's all original too. She's a launch day model. Yeah time took it's toll on her... but we doctored her up pretty good. Running 232 and it was like she was fresh out of the box again.
My Dream has ended. I have a problem. "My name's Josh, and I'm addicted to technology." You see, I have been through more than my share of phones. I got a Storm, the Storm II came out. I got a Storm II. I had one experience with android, we all experiment in college, and I was hooked. Yes, Android is not a choice! I was BORN THIS WAY. I tried to be like all the other kids... Blackberry Messenger... roller balls... QWERTY Keyboard... So, I gave in to my urges and got an OG Droid. We spent many a happy month together before I needed... and I mean NEEDED to get rid of it. It was putting on weight, not working as fast. Yeah it got FROYO, but it wasn't enough. I was attracted to the Fascinate. Oh man, love at first site. What's funny is I was set up that day to take out a Droid X... When the Fascinate caught my eye.... Oh boy. Then, I saw the Bionic coming. IN LOVE LOVE LOVE. My family told me I could never be faithful to JUST ONE PHONE... but c'mon, I live in Utah anyway! So, I got my Bionic, we actually got two of them in the family... wow talk about fantasy fulfillment. Yeah, it's just as good as every young teenage boy thought it would be!
This time... This time I said it would be different. Many possible upgrades came and went. Upgrade credits, I have 3 right now! YEAH, 3!!!! And yet... somehow I stayed faithful... I was gonna go with her for 2 full years. Launch day and 24 months of bliss.
Alas, today she died. I can't even look her in the load up screen Eye without seeing the sadness. Gateway to the soul. I don't know how to explain it to the kids either... Android Heaven... I don't think they believe in it like I do. It's just not gonna be the same at night when I snuggle up in my blankets and she watches over me from her charging cradle. Patiently getting through another night until we wake up and spend another day...
