I have only had two bad experiences since I got my X last week. The screen froze on me once, today actually, while I was swyping a text message out and the only thing I could do was pull the battery. I waited to see if it would come to but nothing worked. The back and home keys wouldn't respond and neither did the power button. Is a battery pull in this case the only option or is there something else I can do if and when this happens again?
Also I have been noticing that when I receive some text it will vibrate but then no sound. It works most of the time but every once in awhile I will here it vibrate but then no "DROID" sound. I tried switching the sound but it still happens every once in awhile. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything that maybe I did to cause this? Is there anything that I can do about it?
I am assuming both of these are software glitches and not a hardware problem and can be fixed in an update.
And 1 question about my multimedia dock. Is the X supposed to just slide right on no problem cause I really have to pick up the dock and futz around with it to get it on there. It's not a big deal but frustrating sometimes. Is this normal or should I swap it out for a new dock? In all the video review it looks like it slides right on no problem.
