A new icon has shown up on my home screen and i don't know how to get it off

The incognito icon has shown up on my home screen. It is not clickable or movable. What is it? And how to I get it off?

Welcome to Android Central! Where are you seeing it -- the status bar or on the homescreen? Do you see any additional details about it if you swipe down the notification panel? Does it go away if you change wallpapers?
