Hello all! I am coming off of almost six years on iOS, the last two of which were on an iPhone 5. I liked iOS well enough but it was really starting to feel stale to me. I'd been thinking about switching to Android for a couple of years now and once my iPhone started having charging problems (for the second time), I figured now was a good time to make a change. I got myself a white Galaxy S5 (T-Mobile) and a 16GB SD card two weeks ago and have been having a blast learning all about Android, customizing my screen, and marveling at the incredible display on this beautiful device. Coming off of a long stretch with iOS, there's a definite sense of freedom now being on such a customizable platform, and I'm loving it. I've spent the morning playing with Nova Prime and I feel like a kid in a candy store. I love that not only can I tweak the way the UI looks/feels, but also make changes to various aspects of operation. Freedom! I'm also just thrilled with the S5. In addition to some great features, I love that I can replace the battery and expand the storage capacity. And that screen, man! Never a second thought or buyer's remorse here. I didn't completely give up iOS as I have an iPad Air running iOS8 but I feel that as far as phones are concerned, this is the beginning of a long relationship with Android.
