Is it just me or does it make your blood boil when someone one walks by and asks, "Hey, I didn't know you had a Kindle Fire" and then you try to explain that this is much superior device but they don't believe you cause they have never heard of it.

I'm missing something here.

Why would someone not knowing what tablet you're using cause your blood to boil?

Dunno about you, but I could care less if people know what device I'm running. When it comes up, people ask if it's the iPad Mini. I explain that it's a $200 Android tablet, and if there's any interest expressed I mention the model. A few people have gone on to buy one. Most snort dismissively and say they'd rather spend $400 on a "real tablet" like an iPad, or express no interest. Whatever. Your money, your toy.

My level of interest in their level of interest matches their level of interest. If they don't care what tablet I'm running, I don't really care that they don't care. If they are interested, I'm happy to demo it for them.

I think the word is getting out. Just returned from a big family thanksgiving dinner and took my N7 with me. Just about most had heard of it but never seen one before my "unveiling". :D
My mom became interested enough to ask where to get one as the N7 totally won her over. Most other's at the dinner were inquisitive enough to ask some techie questions and had (or wanted) the opportunity to try it out and all spoke of it in a very positive way.
Didn't think about it till posting but its a good way to promote a quality device to more people as I'm sure they'll remember the Nexus 7 after their initial try out and possibly give one (or asking :p) for Christmas.
So yea, let's spread the word.:)

Never been asked if it was a Kindle. Was asked if that was my phone once. Every one who does ask about it and takes the time to listen want one. Have been the catalyst for two purchases so far.
