A Plea for the Note 10

How about go back to the good old days when the Note was actually SUPERIOR to the S series.

Keep the HEADPHONE JACK.

BIGGER battery. Why not 5,000mAh. Stop this nonsense of making it so THIN?!?!

Not that I noticed the difference from last year's two variants but I'm sure it helps, make 8GB or even 10GB of RAM along with 512GB storage STANDARD.

I didn't "upgrade" from my note 8 to the note 9 because 1. I'm not interested in the camera! I use it incidentally, occasionally, but have real cameras I use if I'm going to be taking photos. 2. Note 9 was just a fresh'n up & certainly did not warrant spending $$$ on over my note 8. The note 10, on the other hand, actually looks like it will be a leap ahead in terms of the in-screen stuff - that in itself will make me purchase it. As for the form factor, I really like the curved edges, have since the S6, and palm rejection works perfectly on note 8 when filling in PDFs & signing, or scrolling with s-pen etc, so why would they change that, so no complaints here & the curved edges certainly don't leave me wishing they weren't there...I just don't get THAT argument. Curved edges are brilliant so far as ergonomics & using edge features. Keep it I say....those who prefer flat can buy the S10 flat screen option. Infinity screen/no bezels = awesome = more usable screen. As for the s-pen, if Samsung drop THAT then I drop the note!

Samsung will never drop the spen, to much invested in it already and so much potential still, I would call the spen in its current form still in its infancy, however, should they abandon it I would probably start looking in the Huawei direction

Yeah. They're more likely to drop the Note line and incorporate the S Pen into the S+ models than remove the S Pen altogether.

Although I don't mind the hole punch design so much, I do agree with you on most points. I don't know where this bezeless thing came from, I'm thinking maybe YouTube reviewers? It's kindve like when they kept pushing the "premium" agenda in 2015 or the oems who kept making bigger and bigger phablets to best the note line size back then. Bezels where fine, they gave each phone its own distinctive look. Now they all are looking very similar.
The Note 9 was praised from tech reviewers all over the globe but there was no better description than from Linus Tech Tips who called the Note 9 the ZERO compromise phone and was he ever right.

It has it all, and didn’t cut back on anything, from the internals to the external extras. Headphone jack, stylus, SD card, iris scanners, 3 cameras , 1 w/ aperture , LED light, duel speakers, USB C, finger print scanner, health monitor, amazing display...just the works...everything you can throw at the phone and a overlay that even makes you question getting Nova. Just perfect.

Now Samsung is at a dangerous crossroads. Do they remove it all and put a hole in the front on their S line...I don’t care, run the standard industry dumbing down for all I care...BUT DON’T TOUCH MY NOTE!!!

Why in the world industry thinks the majority of people give a flying ‘you know what’ about no bezels in sacrifice of useful physical features is beyond my comprehension. It makes zero sense. Really?? a couple millimeters to add an array of features at the top? It already infuriates me that the bezels on the Note 9 are so tight on the sides it precludes me from using the phone without a case due to palm mis presses.

Samsung, by all means go forth and play copy cat like everyone else to Apple’s line on your S series, remove functionality and put a stupid hole in the front, but please, please, please leave the Note the way it is...perfect!
