I've noticed a lot of people have questions and seek assistance, but they don't take a few seconds to hit the thanks button when the question is answered or the solution is offered. These forums allow all of us to get help from fellow users who take their time to help. It's the mutual efforts of those who use these forums that help all of us. So take an extra second to hit the thanks and/or like button to show your appreciation for the efforts of your fellow users to help. That's the whole purpose of these forums in the first place. The advice is free. The least we can do is say thanks.

I have to say that as a long time forum member and now Ambassador Volunteer I don't ever remember anyone ever saying that on any of the 3 forums I belong so to you Sir Thank you very much for that post and I am sure it means alot to all of us.

@OP

Your so right. That is what these forums are built on is the community helping the community. Giving back to others and helping make everyone's smartphone experience the best it can be.

Thanks to all that contribute.

I try to thank to all replies, doesn't matter if post helped me or not...
Simple, I ask a lot of question, so I thank a lot :)

Live long and prosper!

"Thanks" or "Like" is not just for those who ask a question or seek a problem solution. They're for ALL of us. I've found AC Forums to be extremely helpful with every android device I've ever had. I read them as part of my daily routine, even if I don't have a question or a problem. And if it's credible or helpful to someone else, I try to at least leave a "Like." The info offered by users is very often invaluable, anyway. Most users are very unselfish with their time and efforts to help others. I just believe it's common courtesy to Thank or Like something someone has taken the time to offer, even if it may not apply directly to me.

Absolutely. I'm amazed at the patience shown on this forum when people ask questions that either could be answered by a quick google search or fall into the "is this a good tablet" category.

I find that the notifications of new likes/thanks really help me in identifying which posts of mine have contributed to or started discussions in threads. This makes it much easier to know which posts I should make a habit of checking again in the future. So in addition to highlighting helpful posts for other users to see, it lets those who made the reply know that there's activity around their post.

+10000000000000 It helps me too. I usually go around thread to see if my post was helpful to OP but a thanks/like is how i track it.

I also prefer people reply to my post if they are replying to me rather than leaving a post on the thread.
