A Small Question About Insurance

My friend's phone broke yesterday, she doesn't have a warranty/insurance and she's looking for a way to get a new phone. I offered to let her use the insurance on my Nexus 4, as long as she pays the deductible, and she agreed. So my question is, if I told the insurance company that I lost the phone, and they send a new one, is there any way they would be able to tell that my current phone is still being used on the daily? And if they can, are there any penalties for this?

Normally I don't get involved in things like this but not only is it really inappropriate to ask such a question here but you are really trying to defraud your insurance so when you need it you are stuck. I would leave things alone with your friend and please keep in mind, We value you being a part of AC but IMO I just don't think that is cool.
