A yearly trend - Note 20 Ultra

I currently own an iPhone 11 Pro Max, and have owned it for about a year or so.
Not sure why exactly, but, every year, around this time of the year, when a new iPhone is being/has been announced, I start the search for a new Samsung device.

It is almost like a yearly itch, that never goes away. The problem that has happened in the past, is that I switch to the 'latest' Samsung device, and within 14 days, I end up returning it, for one reason or another.

Well, here we are again, the itch has begun. After all, the Samsung Note 20 Ultra, does look nice...!

Both me and my Wife. Had a note 9 and a Note 10+
And my Buddy and his wife had Iphone 11 pro's.
Traded them in and bought the Note 20 Ultra 5G Universal unlocked phones.
They both got the Samsung Tablets too. Best Buy gave them the best time on picking up the tablets.
Seems Samsung has totally sold out of the tablets like 2 or 3 times.

You see people who got a great deal and went with a carrier phone did so because of price the carrier locked them into.
But you see when they charge the phone the phone was getting hot.

Best Buy will offer you a payment plan for up to 2 yrs if you have good credit.
And you can get the phone you want.
Deals ain't always deals.

I watched Samsungs Note 20 5G Ultra introduction on TV and was calling everybody.
The Note 20 Ultra 5G will do more than you could realize.
Before I bought the phones. My wife had a note 9 she was perfectly happy with.

My wife has said several times.
Thank you for getting me the Note 20 Ultra 5G phone.
We live about 80 miles from where you can even use 5 G living out in the country.

I didn't need a new phone I wanted one and yes even though I don't have the urge to buy an iPhone I'll still take a peek at them.
Yeah, need is rarely the point with phones in this stratosphere.

In comparing my new Note 20 Ultra to the 9+ I traded in, I can say the 20 is better on every score, yet, has my life dramatically changed? The things I do the most on the phone (read ebooks, listen to music, answer emails, surf the net, social media) are pretty much being done the same way without any dramatic or necessary upgrades. Mostly, 5g (not yet ready for prime time, though) and it's a lot faster impact me the most. But my life has not changed radically. Need is never the issue with these. It was on my upgrade schedule and I wanted a 5g device soon anyway, so....
