Before the Nougat update I had 2 reboots that I know of while the phone was idle.
After 7.0 my A7 has rebooted 7 times when idle.

Looks like it might be time for the factory reset solution.
Tonight's reboot made me frown quite a bit.

I thought my problems were apps out of the Amazon appstore.
Uninstalled those to check then sadly had another reboot 30 minutes ago.
:(

I had zero reboots that I know of before I upgraded to Nougat. After the upgrade, before I did a factory reset, I had several. Once I did the reset I have had zero reboots.

Thanx my friend.

I don't mind resetting actually.
Makes for kind of a realignment and clean-up anyway.

I have a quick story to tell you...

My brother has a V10 on Verizon. He called me about a week ago telling me that the vibration on his phone wasn't functioning well anymore. The first thing I told him was if he had dropped it. He told me no he hadn't dropped it or anything. He had called LG (since he is past his warranty with Verizon) and they told him to do a factory reset before sending it in. Then I told him did you recently do an upgrade on your phone?? He said yeah about 2/3 weeks ago. I said, THAT might be the issue. He came to my house, I grabbed all his pics and files from his internal storage and backed it up on my PC. Factory reset his device and BAM.....his vibration worked again! I can only imagine how many people out there who have the same device and carrier and go through the same problem would think its the phone not working when its actually just a software issue.

Yes the best to do is factory reset after any major upgrade...And start fresh

I suffer 3 randoms reboots in 2 weeks after Nougat update.
Factory reset? Done
Clear cache on recovery? Done
Multiple clear cache on advanced options? Done
Still looking for a reliable fix from ZTE
My phone is in a completely unmodified state, and never use an app from another place than the Play store.
Whatsapp is a mess sending photos too.

If you're still experiencing problems after factory reset then you most likely have a faulty device.

No randoms reboots in 45 days on MM, and after Nougat, 3 reboots in a short period of time? And WhatsApp? And lags in Instagram for example?
Not a faulty device at all, just a crappy software development.
Afortunatly, we have LOS to fix ZTE can not fix for us.

I have had zero issues since nougat update... And haven't done reset yet... Thou my device is 128gb with 6gb ram limited edition

Uh-oh...
Today I started off with the reboot first thing this morning.
Then 5 more reboots during the day.
Everytime I pulled this from my pocket today it was on the lockscreen needing the pin to start.

I wiped the cache from recovery and uninstalled 3 recent apps.
Next comes the reset for the fourth time.

I had high hopes for this phone.

Bummed...

I have had zero reboots since I did a reset after doing the Nougat update. Prior to the reset I had several reboots. Are you using more than one sim? A SD Card? Is it possible that the reboots might be related to a certain carrier? My carrier is AT&T, one sim and a 64gb SD Card.

T-Mobile SIM
128 GB Sandisk SD

Both have been in the phone since December 30th delivery date.

I have a Tracfone SIM I can switch over to for testing.
Seeing some app problems after Nougat.
All the apps I noticed being weird I've uninstalled.

Will disabling built in apps cause problems?
Another thing ... I've been running Nova on this from day one.
Never had any probs with Nova anywhere on any device before.

I can reset and just go without my customizations to see how it goes.

I know this is an older thread, but has your rebooting problem been solved? Hope everythingis okay with your phone!
