About 50% of videos having "Incorrect Data" and not playing

[Android Central Question]

I took about 40 videos on the weekend and half of them don't play more than 5 seconds on the phone (S7) before stopping and saying "incorrect data" but the other videos are fine.
I've tried moving them to my PC and although they all have the .mp4 extension like they should, they wont play on PC either.

I cant stress enough how much I need these files within the next 2 days for a job application.

Please help

i have had the same problems and i talk to a Verizon worker when i took my phone up there and theres nothing you can do it means the files are corrupted
