Absolute thinnest case possible?

Could you post a photo of your case? Thinking about getting one

Thank you!

I've had Bear Motion cases in the past, they have a sandstone finish and are really thin. They don't provide any drop protection but trust me, they're very grippy for a thin case. I'm using a similar cheap case I bought from eBay and if you're looking for something similar, your keyword is "sandstone". The IMAK Cowboy case is another similar designed case.

Are the bear motions hard cover or are they flex TPU?

Hoping for flex...

Thanks!

I agree and the silver is transparent so it looks fantastic on a orchard gray phone. They are expensive but it doesn't get any thinner and the cut out for the side buttons is perfect. I've been using on my S8 + since May and no micro scratches on the sides or back.

Have you or anyone dropped the phone? Curious if it would protect an average drop say from 3 or 4 feet?

These are to give minimal protection and add better grip while retaining the phone's design rather than bare.

Also most cases interfere with using DeX as well as some USBC adapters and plugs. You can buy a USBC extension stub of 0.5" in those situations

Sliding off a desk by accident onto the carpet ideally.

There are other cases that are more suitable for protecting from a drop.

daiwolf, check out supcase, their Unicorn Beetle Pro worked great on my charger.

@daiwolf, I've been using an Otterbox Defender case and Qi charging through it for a few years. It's about 1/3 as thick as the distance over which a Qi charger will charge.
