AC Android app - cannot open FORUMS

I am running 7.1.1 on a Nexus 5X - build number NPF10C - and running AC app version 3.1.3 - I cannot open the FORUMS section; only get blank screen with static "updating" circle.

I am able to open all other sections on AC (home, shop, videos, wallpapers, etc.) and I can open any sub-item, see comments, etc. - I am only having the problem with FORUMS.

Please advise how to fix this problem.
