Pretty boring and bland tuner sandwich today...
When it comes to qweezeen (cuisine) we're into basics around here :(

Yay! I finally win something.

@jean15paul
I was born and raised in a little town called Winnfield. Went to college at NLU (now called ULM) in Monroe. Now, my wife and I live in Northwest Arkansas. While I didn't grow up in true Cajun country, my aunt lives in the New Orleans Garden District, and once a year, she brings South Louisiana up to my parents' house. :) I'm guessing, by your name, that you're from somewhere south of Marksville. ;D

I only get food like this once a year, so, it was really good....and I'm sure that I ate (and drank) way too much, omgitselaine and VDub2174.

Wow!
Is that gold on the walnuts? (Looks like walnuts)
I don't think that was real gold. They weren't that expensive. Though I could be wrong...

I can't remember what they were either. That was a couple of years ago. They look like walnuts.

It was almost definitely "luster dust", a food grade shiny powder that comes in different colors. My wife does custom cakes, cookies, candies, etc. She uses it often.

You're probably right. I checked out the website but they don't seem to sell that one anymore.

If anyone is going to Paris and likes eclairs, highly recommend this place. It's one of the top eclair places in Paris. We just stumbled on it while wandering around.
