Re: Foods of the AC

Over here you can get a dozen fresh for £2 from Tesco, Asda, and Sainsbury's. Not saying they're great but they do the job.

These are worth free :)
I gobbled two with coffee and was going to take the others over to a neighbors for their kids.
The wife was a notty girl and had one also...

You'd get kicked out of the donut club at my office if you showed up with that. The rule is bakery donuts only. :)
Seriously. We literally kicked out one of the managers because he showed up with Walmart donuts.

Yes I know that...

I used to run the coffee bar at work and always bought the delivered doughnutz from Marie's bakery up the street from the base.
WalMart donuts can lead to an early death :)

I should note that doughnuts are not as popular here as they are in the US. We do have Krispy Kreme here but they're not as popular as they used to be and we don't have any major chains for doughnuts.

Doughnuts are a very big deal among gov't workers in the US.
One thing I noticed over the years is that any leftovers I brought to work were usually gone by afternoon no matter if it was good or not.
... Lol ...

Veggie dish in a local restaurant. Tastes great. I guess most people cannot differentiate this and real meat. Price? ~1USD.

Went to a Middle Eastern place for dinner in Minneapolis tonight. The vegetarian appetizer sampler filled me up...
