A beautiful view on my walk home from work yesterday. I love how the overcast look framed the scene. Taken with only 2X Zoom on my Google Pixel 5, and it came out great!PXL_20210913_220249940.jpg
 
Ever see the Movie Wind River? The mountain scenes were NOT filmed in the Wind River Range; they were filmed in the Park City UT area, most likely the Uinta Mountains.
This is the true Wind River Mountain Range...last year. Believe it was about 20 below...

Taken from Dome Plateau. Colorado river flowing through Professor valley with Castleton tower and the Sister's Group in Castle Valley UT, North of Moab. (My first retirement location:) )

And what's a trip to Moab without a photo of the famous Delicate arch...
Very early morning (walk up in the dark), light NOT reflecting off the Arch; temp about 50 degrees making it a very enjoyable walk

Evening shot, sun reflecting off the arch (La Sal Mountains in the background), temp about 105 not such an enjoyable walk (from parking lot in Arches, it is approx 1.5 miles basically UP....
