Ditto !=)) That's exactly how ours looked in every way! Word for word! I'll search for an old pic.

Do you have pics of him ?

Ours was a female named 'Libby', but somehow our baby lovie-talk morphed into 'Yibby'! ... 'Yibby-Yoo' ... 'Big Yib' ... 'Come-on Yibs! ' ... 'Whatta Yib .. Whatta Yib .. Whatta Yib'!

Once drove from Orcas Island, WA -to- Key West, Florida, and back, with all points in-between... in a Volkswagen Bug—with a car-top carrier on top, and four fishin' pole tubs in ski racks that attached to the rear engine vents, below the rear window—(remember how nothing seemed impossible when we were in our early 20's? =) —with 'Big Yib' and the English Setter that I had grown-up with, in the back seat !!

My Setter got a face, mouth & tongue full of Porquepine quills in Wyoming, while we were fly-fishing way way up at a very remote lake ( I think in the Bridger Mountain Range), and where, after a 2~3 hour trip down to civilization, a large animal Vet then gave her way too much anesthesia (like a dosage for a cow!), before pulling out the barbed quills. We never thought she was gonna wake-up afterwards; as she slept for 2 1/2 days!

Then 'Big Yib' got totally sprayed by a Skunk along the Henry's Fork (a tributary of the Snake River), below Yellowstone, where a Grizzly Bear starting to molest our VW Bug while we were all sleeping in it—up a National Park Service maintenance road, that we weren't supposed to be on—after we couldn't find an open camping spot within Yellowstone, and by the famous Railroad Ranch.

Then a Rattlesnake bit my Setter in the face along the Snake River in Idaho, on the 4th of July, when no Veterinarian clinics were open.
And even after an emergency on-call Vet gave her the life-saving antibiotics & anti-inflammatory shots, her head swelled-up to the size of a St. Bernard ! So much so, she could hardly breath all night.

And that's not even talkin' bout Louisiana, Mississippi & Florida !!!
Wow! Your poor dogs had such bad luck outdoors.

This is a pic of my memorial pic of him. His name was Kobi bc he looked like a Kodiak Bear cub when he was a puppy. He was a goof. My kids were young and they would have tons of friends over every day. Kobi loved the kids but he was so big and would get so excited to see them that he would knock them over in his excitement. I had to train him to lay down before he could get petted. Anyone come over, he would do an immediate dead man's drop to the floor so he would get petted. The kids would climb all over him and maul him and he would be in heaven with it all.20240217_142219.jpg

What a handsome & beautiful boy your Kobi was! As well as wonderful in every way! :)
Sorry for your loss. But what a blessing for your family to have lived with him, and for him with your family. Their lives go by so fast. 😕

Ours looked very similar. I think I have a pic, but I have to search thru a bunch of those old photo envelopes.

Yeah, he was a lot of fun. He got into mischief but not nearly as much as your guys did. I don't have any porcupine quills or rattlesnake bites but a skunk a couple times.

Ok, so these aren't pets, I guess, but I really enjoyed seeing baby lambs at my brother-in-law's family farm yesterday. These are triplets that were born less than 24 hours earlier. Henrietta is their mom.

Found some old pics of our 1/2 German Shepherd—1/2 Black Lab, but most of the pics look so cloudy :( , much more so than I remember them ever being. :( I guess that means they're deteriorating? :( How could I be so dumb?! I should've scanned all my old pics at least 20~25 years ago! :( Err, um, I'd appreciate it if no one does the math!

And a couple pics of my 15yr old Setter 'Jo' and her swollen face & head after getting bit in the face by a Rattlesnake:

Anyone know the best method or camera settings or lens to use (e.g.- on an S23+) for shooting a pic of an old (physical Kodak paper) pic? . . .maybe Portrait? Or maybe 'Pro' Telephoto?

This pic below, was taken of an old pic, with the camera app set to 'Pro' + 'T' (Telephoto), but does anyone have a setting preference that you use or prefer when taking a pic of a pic? . .

. . and I do intend on getting a round . . . eventually, to scanning them all. 😵‍💫

I had a Black Lab Shepherd cross, best doggo I've ever had. The little brown spots above her eyes made her face so expressive. I'll scan some pics when I get home if I remember.

Would like to see em'. ;)
Hey you must've accidentally edited the quote so it made it look like I spelled 'Shepherd' wrong ?! 🙃 😜 😄

Have you tried the Scan option in gdrive?
