I just got my OPO about 4 days ago, no invites yet. They do say it could be "a few weeks" somewhere I looked for that info and judging by the responses that seems to be accurate. So... I'm waiting for mine, don't know when they'll show up.

Pay for Invites - Good or bad thing?
Am I encouraging poor things if I go pay for an invite? I'd really like this phone, but dang, I can't get a hold of an invite. Someone in my area just listed a craigslist post charging for invites... is that person being reasonable?

However I think the ones who are selling invites are cheap [inappropriate language edited by Moderator] and scams, because its [inappropriate language edited by Moderator] too sell invites when they probably got 1 for free!

Yes...and no. Would you pay extra for a sold-out concert ticket? Would you pay for a ticket to a free event with all invites given out? Same principle. It's ethically wrong, but people still do it haha and it's up to you to decide if the extra price is worth it.
But if I recall correctly, they were just about to do away with the whole invite thing, weren't they? Why not just wait?

I wouldn't pay for an invite, but that's just me. And like makie said, this MIGHT be a scam. Craigslist is not the most trustworthy site for transactions after all.

Yeah, I'll wait. And actually, Cortana is the best part about this phone - I think it's the only thing WP is doing better than anyone else.
But yeah, the rest is getting to be more and more brutal the more I use it.
