Access Facebook on Samsung Internet Explorer

to save battery I am trying to use Samsung Internet Explorer and access Facebook through the explorer instead of using the app. Did this with weather and can pin that website to the quick access page. But Facebook keeps using the mobile website instead of the www.facebook.com and I cannot access my feed. Any suggestions?
