Moto G54 5G does not find Moto Tags

I have four Moto Tags for my luggage and flight carry-on items when travelling. I know the tags work correctly with my Moto g31(w).

My wife has a Moto g54 5G phone (Android 15) and we are trying to get her phone to recognise and locate the same four Moto Tags but the g54's Bluetooth 'Pair New Device' does not recognise any of the Moto Tags. I downloaded the App to her phone today, so I know it is the latest version. When we open the Moto Tag app, it searches for a while and then just show an "Add a tag" screen which is completly unresponsive to tapping on it.

I have recently replaced the batteries in each of the MotoTags and we know they work with my g31.

Are we missing something in the Moto Tag App or Bluetooth setup?

Thanks for your prompt response. I think I'm getting on top of the problem. I'm the "owner" of the 4 tags, since I originally set them up with my g31 (and consequently, my personal Google account), using the Moto Tag App.

It appears that my wife's g54 phone does not need to have the Moto Tag App. The Moto Tag App on her phone cannot access the tags because they are "owned" by someone else (me/my Google Account). She just has to use Google's "Find Hub" App to locate the tag. I'll remove the Moto Tag App from her g54.
