Is there a way to either add a calculator to the lock screen or to the quick setting panel? My work phone is a iPhone 6 and personally, (i.e. my opinion), is that I can swipe up from the bottom to access various apps like calculator, flashlight, alarm, etc... I know on my Note 5 I can already access the flashlight by swiping down from the top to open the quick settings panel. And I know that there is already a shortcut on the lock screen for the camera; however I can't find anything even related on the inter webs about adding the calculator. On my older S4 and Note 3 you could add widgets to the lock screen and calculator was one of them. Thanks in advance for the assist. :)

Re: Access to calculator from lock screen

Have you tried this

To add a lock screen widget, heed these directions:

Open the Settings app.

It’s found on the Apps screen.

Choose the Device category from the top of the screen.

Don’t sweat if you don’t see that category; not every Settings app features the category tabs.

On the left side of the Settings app screen, select Lock Screen.

Select the Multiple Widgets item.

Let me know

As far as I know your stuck as Verizon had the features to allow you to add any stock app to the lock screen removed... I feel your pain I had my calculator on my home lock screen on my Note 4 I also miss being able to side swip the setting menu instead of scrolling up and down also

Re: Access to calculator from lock screen

If your model removed this option then you would need to install a third party lock screen to do this
