accessing Rise with utility

Anyone else have any issues accessing the Rise with utilities? I've tried CDMA WS, Easy CDMA, QPST, NONE see the device.

I have root and Win 7 sees the device.

My guess is an issue with my Dell Inspiron and/or Win 7 not assigning a com port?
